  • The research is dedicated to the most relevant problems of family law. We analyze the correlation of civil marriage, religious marriage and cohabitation in hindsight looking at the heritage of legal science.
We substantiate the conclusion that the increasing popularity of cohabitation is an evidence of declining morale, family decay and general degradation of the population. All attempts to substitute the concept of cohabitation for a more euphonious but having a different meaning concept of civil marriage mean a low level of education and an acknowledged negative attitude to such a phenomenon in family relations.
