  • We substantiate new approaches to pharmacological correction of functional status of sportsmen based on the analysis of the mechanisms of forming extremal states and correlated patterns of forming fatigue. We show that elimination of asthenic manifestations and signs of sport immunodeficiency, body saturation with energy substrates, expanding the reserves of the regulation system are a necessary condition for effective correction of functional status of sportsmen. Regulatory peptides and energy substrates on the basis of Krebs cycle metabolites represent special interest for pharmacologists.
