On the basis of approaches applied in academic literature to describing innovation and organization activities of business, we determine the place and the role of innovation activity in business performance. We describe the existing types of innovation activity and introduce a chart of the main indicators of science development in St. Petersburg in 2015 as well as a diagram representing the volume of innovation products, work and services according to types of economic activity. | |
