Keywords:

  • electrocardiogram
  • annual cycle
  • women
  • European North
  • clinically significant electrocardiogram parameters
  • signs of hyperfunction of auricles, ventricles and of cor pulmonale
  • wave amplitude
  • amplitude characteristics of electrocardiogram

We consider features of electrocardiogram (ECG) in 12 leads in the annual cycle in normo-tensive 20-59 year-old women living in the European North almost all their life (62°N). We dem-onstrate the modulating effect of the weather and climate conditions on the amplitude and time characteristics of the ECG. The periods of unfavorable influence of the weather conditions on the electrical activity of the heart muscle are revealed.
