We analyze the contribution of the Red Army medical service to the Great Victory. During the war, military medics managed to cure more than 17 ml wounded and sick for the field force. Every day one infantry division returned from hospitals to the front-line forces. We show the role of the Scientific Medical Council under the Head of the Main Military Sanitary Department.
