We analyze the materials of open scientific databases concerning the problem of viral infections in patients with oncohematological diseases and present the results of our own observations regarding the most relevant infections of viral etiology. We revealed that the risk of herpesvirus infections reactivation is the highest in patients with CLL. As far as COVID-19 is concerned, the factors of risk of unfavorable outcome in patients with oncohematological diseases have been discovered and the prolonged shedding of SARS-CoV-2 has been confirmed in patients belonging to this category.
